Access analytical software packages--such as Matlab, SPSS, Stata, Mathematica, and ArcView GIS--for your homework or thesis project via our virtual software lab. For more information, see our documentation.
Students can borrow cameras, projectors, audio recorders, microphones, and projection screens via the IT Services TECHB@R.
Students can access over 4000 online training courses provided by Lynda.com. Course topics range from Excel Basics, R Statistics, SPSS, Tableau, to Adobe Photoshop and 3D modeling. Access with your CNetID at lynda.uchicago.edu.
Students can call 773-702-5800 (7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; interim hours 8:30a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; closed on university holidays) for questions about course websites in Chalk or Canvas. Answers to common course website support questions can also be accessed at: answers.uchicago.edu.
Convenient walk-up technology support, equipment lending, conferencing spaces, and videoconferencing capabilities is available at the IT Services TECHB@R, located on the first floor of the Joseph Regenstein Library.
