Wine, Cheese, Technology...The 10th Annual Faculty Technology Receptions

Welcome back to campus!

Please join your fellow professors, lecturers, instructors, researchers, and technology partners as we kick off the academic year at our 10th annual wine and cheese technology receptions. We have a wealth of services to share with you, as well as six wonderful wine and cheese pairings to sample.

New this year, find out about:

  • Canvas, a next-generation learning management system
  • IT Services’ Own Your Identity campaign, including the password change initiative and 2Factor Authentication, designed to improve security for you and your colleagues
  • The Chicago Center for Teaching
  • Chalk improvements for the coming year

There are two dates to choose from:

IT partners will be on hand to highlight University resources in support of your research and teaching, including Chalk, Library Reserves, online class lists and grading, technology purchases, AV and multimedia classrooms, safe computing, training, and desktop support. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have or connect you to an expert who will contact you after the reception.

Be sure to stop by the check-in table for your welcome gift. A few lucky guests will leave with a bottle of wine of their choosing.
