Description: Academic & Scholarly Technology Services (ASTS) is hiring student assistants (2-5) to build course tools or websites. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Undergraduate or graduate students are welcome. Set your own flexible schedule between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Typical duties include Web Application development using HTML, CSS, Java, Javascript, PHP, REST, JSON, SOAP coding and other duties as assigned. This is a perfect opportunity for those who want to get hands on experience in instructional support and learning technology, working in an office setting, and get to know a variety of digital learning tools.
Qualifications: Graduate and undergraduate students are welcome to apply. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, Java, and JavaScript with extensive knowledge for REST, JSON, SOAP, and web service (preferred). Strong coding, programming, and scripting required. Good communication skills, efficiency, attention to detail, independence and ability to follow instructions and work in teams are crucial.

Hour Range: 10-20 hours per week when classes are in session; up to 37.5 hrs per week over breaks.
Pay Range: $13.00 undergraduates; $15.00 graduates
