Access analytical software packages–such as Matlab, SPSS, Stata, Mathematica, and ArcView GIS–for your homework or thesis project via our virtual software lab. For more information, see our documentation.

Borrow Digital Media Equipment
Students can borrow cameras, projectors, audio recorders, microphones, and projection screens via the IT Services TechBar.

Access On-Demand Software Training via LinkedIn Learning
Students can access over 4000 online training courses provided by LinkedIn Learning. Course topics range from Excel Basics, R Statistics, SPSS, Tableau, to Adobe Photoshop and 3D modeling. Access with your CNetID at linkedinlearning.uchicago.edu.
Record Video with the OneButton Studio
Students can easily and quickly record video on a flash drive with the OneButton Studio, located on the A Level of Regenstein Library.
NOTE: The OneButton Studio is currently closed due to construction. Check the OneButton Studio website for updates.
Get Course Website and Technical Support
Students can call 773-702-5800 (7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; interim hours 8:30a.m.-5:00 p.m.; closed on university holidays) for general technical questions. Answers to common IT support questions can also be accessed at: its.uchicago.edu/support.
Convenient walk-up technology support, equipment lending, conferencing spaces, and videoconferencing capabilities are available at the IT Services TechBar, located on the first floor of the Joseph Regenstein Library.
Canvas Support
Support for using Canvas is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week with the Canvas Support line, 844-334-6803, and live chat (through the help menu on the far left navigation when logged in).
