Author’s Note: This is a guest post on behalf of IT Services.

The University of Chicago IT Services is conducting a User Experience (UX) assessment of the IT Services Portal.  The goal is to gather feedback from users like you on their experiences using the University’s online IT services.

As a current faculty member of the University of Chicago, we believe you can provide valuable insights into the usability and effectiveness of the IT Services Portal. We are specifically interested in hearing about your experience with the following:

  • Navigating the portal website
  • Searching for information
  • Using online resources
  • Communicating with IT support

We have engaged Clarity Partners to conduct the UX assessment and all information you provide will be kept confidential.  The assessment will involve a one-on-one interview, conducted over Zoom. The interview will take approximately 30 minutes, and the interviewer will ask you to share your screen while you navigate the IT Services Portal.  Your participation in the assessment is voluntary.  At the start of Fall Quarter, we will be hosting a luncheon for all participating faculty as a thank you for your valuable input.

The interviews will be conducted Now – June 23, 2023.  If you are interested in participating, please email Traci Villa (traci.villa@uchicago.edu) with your interest, and Joseph Kim or Eric Leech from Clarity Partners will reach out to schedule a convenient time for the interview.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
